The poor girl can not even eat real cheese and now her skin looks like she has third degree burns half the time! I have read many times that eczema and food allergies go hand in hand. Cut out dairy- did that. Cut out wheat- did that. I am running out of things to cut out! She just has bad skin, just like me. Poor thing! So, we have a new nightly bath routine.. she soaks in a homemade oatmeal bath. This bath is pretty amazing, I think I might need one! ๐Ÿ™‚ She actually really likes it and is very relaxed while sitting in it. (I do it in the sink so I do not clog the drain with oats!)

This is what she looked like prior to starting these baths: (I have NO clue what is causing these huge breakouts- its so frustrating)

ย And here is what she looked like after a couple days of these baths:

Here is what I did:

Filled the sink up with warm water (heat can make it worse) and added:

3 teaspoons of olive oil

1 tablespoon of baking soda

2 tablespoons of ground oats (I just put rolled oats in the food processor)

Let her soak for about 15 minutes or until she was done and wanted out.

Note: clean the sink out ๐Ÿ™‚
